The research project is the culmination of the entire course. The overall learning outcome of the course is that students will be able to conduct business research in the specific area of interest, collecting and analyzing data, findings, conclusions and recommendations of their study. This subject aims to: - - Improve understanding of the nature of research, research process, and knowledge management. - Equip students with skills on writing research proposals and final research projects, formulate research methodology, analyzing of data, presenting findings, generating conclusions and how to come-up with recommendations from the study.

On completion, a candidate should be able to

  • Demonstrate an ability to plan a research project such as is required in a research project prior to starting their work.
  • Develop a research proposal or industry project plan.
  • Demonstrate ability to analyse research project (scholarly articles) synthesize key points, cite and format research article bibliographic as well as entire document using correct APA format.
  • Demonstrate ability to comply with ethical, safety and documentation appropriate to the research project.
  • Demonstrate ability to prepare and present research project.
